Converseen is built using the Qt framework. It can also edit their size, change their aspect ratio, flip them, and rotate them at once. This means that you can use it to convert multiple images into over 100 different formats at once. When and where possible this will scale your images to 960 by 528 pixels, but will preserve the aspect ratio of those images that won’t scale to these dimensions exactly. To convert an image from JPEG to PNG run the command: convert image.jpg image.png. Converseen is a free and open-source application for batch image conversion for Linux and Windows computers.

Perhaps you have a height and width you are aiming for, but want to preserve the aspect ratio. Image Tuner is a free software for batch resizing, converting, watermarking and renaming your digital photos and images from more than 20 image formats to JPEG. This will scale all of your images to a width of 960 pixels, the height will be scaled accordingly, preserving the aspect ratio. Perhaps the height isn’t as important as the width. png files in your directory to a size of 960 pixels by 528 pixels.

Place all the images you want to scale in a directory and navigate to that location via command line. You’re in luck! With the ImageMagick -resize option, you can quickly and easily batch scale those images to a manageable size. See inkscape -help for more export options (area to export, dpi, image resolution, background color etc). Another way is to use inkscape: inkscape -e file.png source.emf.
